Welcome to Dan and Sue’s world of wood—a place where passion meets purpose, and where imperfections are celebrated. Take a seat, admire the craftsmanship, and let their creations speak to your soul.

Once upon a time, in the bustling world of IT, Dan was a dedicated professional at the Coca-Cola Company. For an impressive 23 years, he navigated the digital landscape, solving complex problems, and ensuring the smooth flow of data and information. Sue a housewife for most of the years and later took on part time work when the kids were old enough. But deep down, they harbored a shared dream—one that would lead them away from corporate servers and into the heart of creativity.

Their love for woodworking began in high school, where they first felt the grain of raw timber beneath their fingertips. The scent of freshly cut wood, the rhythmic hum of saws, and the satisfaction of crafting something tangible—it all ignited a spark within them. Little did they know that this passion would eventually shape their destiny.

In 2017, after decades of dedicated service, Dan and Sue decided it was time to turn their dream into reality. Armed with their hard-earned savings and a vision, they invested in the finest woodworking equipment. Their plan? To transition from the corporate world to a life of artistic expression. Retirement wasn’t about slowing down; it was about channeling their energy into something more meaningful.

But life had other plans. In 2021, they bid farewell to the Florida sunshine and set their sights on the arid beauty of Arizona. Their goal: to build a new home and resurrect their woodworking business by the summer of 2022. Yet fate had a different timeline in mind. Their home construction stretched over nearly three years, testing their patience and resilience.

Dan and Sue found solace in their faith. They believed that God’s timing was perfect—even if it didn’t align with their own. And so, they persevered. In 2024, their 900-square-foot workshop stood proudly, its walls echoing with the promise of creativity. The scent of freshly sawn wood filled the air, and the tools they’d collected over the years found their purpose once more.
